Luis & Teresa

We're Luis, Teresa and Gilda, our 1996 Mitsubishi Space Gear 4x4 (Delica in UK, Australia and America), that we have owned since last March. We live in Lisbon, Portugal, and a few weeks ago we just left home and went down the Portuguese southwest coast right to the south, enjoying the Portuguese endless Summer... great days and great van life!

October is an excellent month to travel in Portugal: great weather, also a lot less people than the crowded summer and. We love the beautiful desert beaches!

So we left on Saturday morning from Lisbon, with the sun shining in the sky. Destination: Sagres, the southwest cape in Portugal, a place that was in ancient times, where Portuguese explorers left the land to "fight" in the ocean.

We continued down the west coast, it was about 300 km until we get Sagres, and we did this very slowly to enjoy the trip & live simply being in the present. Staying by the beach and enjoying this Summer which seems to never end.
